Today was a day of transitions and full-circle moments. My parents are moving out of the house they’ve been renting for the past year, preparing to settle into their dream home in Arizona. It’s a milestone that feels monumental—not just for them, but for all of us.
When I say “dream home,” I don’t mean sprawling luxury or opulence. It’s modest in size, but every inch of it has been thoughtfully designed by my parents. They got to choose every detail—the layout, the colors, the finishes—and that makes it extraordinary. It’s a space that reflects who they are and what they value.
Growing up, we didn’t have much. My parents worked tirelessly to provide for my sisters and me, often sacrificing their own dreams to ensure we had what we needed. In many ways, they are among the last to truly follow and achieve the so-called “American Dream.” This house is a testament to their perseverance, their grit, and their belief that hard work could pave the way to something better.
